Ann Calvert Mr. Tom Burtner On the winds of time, the deeds, values, and ideas of men, carried from past to present and into the future, gently in- fluence our decisions and desires and become our experiences of today. Certainly a major influence in our lives, the Winds of education, blowing so meaningfully through our formula- tive, high school years, carries experience so valuable that we can never forget them. As the refreshing breezes of a summer evening revive the scorched earth, so the Wind of education revives the memory of a cherished time and an honored place. w.. During this time they have fostered the education of this, the gradu- ating class of 1963. The winds, however, have not only brought education, but they have left in their path many fond memories and long-lasting friendships. Although storms have arisen in our high school career, gentle breezes seem to have overcome them all. -N v F' f ,S1 K 9 -x ' ,zi--Q' Q wx ,rr 4 W, Air, H -fzii J' A 4V am' f -+ .'.' A iv - .. ,. Struggling patiently upward on the mountainis slope, he pauses momentarily and wistfully gazes at the summit, so ilnpassibly high above liim. He feels that perhaps he cannot make it, that perhaps the peak is too far away. Later, as he stands at the moutainfs top, thrilling to the sense of new and different winds, and receive the wide expanse of life around him, lie knows the toil was worthy of his effort. .f, 3, 'Y ., ,X 'N rv: my 2-fy C . 4 5 Q J' W ,,,,..4z',,-fe W if i -4 9 ff., - 1 r harm 'K 7' A I., ref , ' 'swf' W.. 777'iff..,H'1f:if5'f2fTi'fl7'4 ,, 7' 'fUjff,,f,Tg::,, f 4'1 s ua- ,,,, 1 lr: W. ,.-Q. --w-rw ,au ,,. ts ,f V' pq.
