Senior Jud Wood prepares to Scalp the Indians as Jody Mel ick and Denise Blank cheer on. NORTHLAND TAKES CITY Viking fans were not at all disappointed this year as the 1978-74 Cagers won the City League Co-Championship. Leading scorer Jud Wood led eight other seniors to a much improved season, 12-5 overall, and 10-3 in the league. The City League race was a hot one right down to the wire as the lead was shared by at least two schools throughout the season. High- lighting this year's action were the whomping victories over co-leaders Mohawk and Eastmoor. Congratulations, Vikings on ANOTI-lERjob well done!
