Senior Dave Conley drops back to pass. TRADITION! . . . A word that means something to each and every student at Northland High School. Since the day the doors opened, building up and preserving tradition has been our ultimate goal. But, what is Northland's tradition? In one word . . . VIKINGS! We built onto ancient myths and created our own Gods. They were mythical gods with green and gold fingers, whose very touch seemed to swallow us up in a dream. That dream has influenced our thinking. We are no longer mere stu- dents. We are Vikings, upholding our tra- dition! WITH A TOUCH OF TOMORROW . . . Then we think, We will not close our eyes to the future. We cannot sur- vive on our dreams. Our alternative leads us to building onto those dreams. Making dreams turn into realities usu- ally results forthe Vikings ot Northland High School. Through the process of turning dreams into realities, the phrase, Tradition with a touch of tomorrow seems to describe us quite well. When a Viking football player goes into the game, he does not dream of years gone past, when Northland has captured the City Crown.
