HOMECOMING. . .'74 Northland faced City League rival, North, and won in an exciting contest 24-O. During the halftime show, the new queen was announced, the band performed Script Viking, and the crowd cheered with approval. On Saturday night, Reflections greeted couples, as the theme ofthe homecoming dance. 1973 Homecoming Queen, Kathy Janzen crowned Queen Shauna. Couples danced to the sounds of Whet- stone's Dance Band. The tradition was seen through, the annual event had been completed. All that was left were memories and anticipation . . . to do it all over again. SENIOR CCJNVENTION X ELECTS OFFICERS The Senior Convention highlighted a week of campaign speeches, posters, and healthy rivalry. Going into the race were two candidates for each office. They were, Joe Mayhew and John Payne, President, Scot Burbacher and Karen Beale, Vice-President, Cindy Sears and Carolyn Carte, Treasurer, Rose Headington and Jody Melick, Secretary, and Jett Brader and Marty Metzker, Ser- geant at Arms.
