HOMECOMING. . .'74 Northland faced City League rival, North, and won in an exciting contest 24-O. During the halftime show, the new queen was announced, the band performed Script Viking, and the crowd cheered with approval. On Saturday night, Reflections greeted couples, as the theme ofthe homecoming dance. 1973 Homecoming Queen, Kathy Janzen crowned Queen Shauna. Couples danced to the sounds of Whet- stone's Dance Band. The tradition was seen through, the annual event had been completed. All that was left were memories and anticipation . . . to do it all over again. The scoreboard tells the story with one second left to play in the game against North. 1 . pi -1 , gf: L- X . 1 4 Wfllll-5 VRLHALLA! The cheerleaders held a sign contest and this one won first place.
