FOOTBALL SQUAD LEADERS - Sherry Buckley, Debbie Katz, Colleen Carroll, jenny Lockard, Linda Stalls, Cindy Engberg. Valkyries is a group of 40 girls which march during halftime at football and basketball games. This year they also competed in two state-wide competitions. Named after the maidens who escorted the Viking warriors to Valhalla, the Viking heaven, the group was organized in 1968. Mrs. Carolyn White and Miss Marsha Mitchell were this year's advisors. The show must go on!!! li S Football Valkyries always proved to be crowd pleasers!!
