Offense leaders were All City members Dean Conley, Bob Giroux, and Neil Ferree, who were also named to the All- District Squad and received Honorable Mention for All-State. Garth Nutter headed the defense with eight interceptions and was named to All-City and All-District squads, with an Honorable Mention for All-State. jeff Collins and Bob Renner were named to the All-City squad for their defensive abilities. jeff Hutchinson was named Most Valuable Player. Although the Vikings were one of the smallest city teams, hard hitting and execution brought them a most successful season.
