BOTTOM ROW QL-RJ: Theresa Morell, Lorain Lubang, jolynn Lochi, Barb Carilo, Karen Wasser, Angel Strong, April Strong, Terri Molliconi it 4-57 1i- Girls track had a good season with several state qualifers and a 5th place out of 12 schools in the District meet. Micki Mills fsophomorej contributed a lot to this years success. Micki Mills broke school records in the high jump, 80 yards hurdles, 110 hurdles, and the 100 yard dash. Kelly Curran fjuniorj had another great year in the disc and broke the school and league records and also took state in the shot put. Debbie Stautler, running the 440 dash and 880 run, and Terri Sumey in the mile run, added a great deal to the teams efforts. sxwi l. Y1:r','

' 3 X This year's team improved over last year and ended their season with a 6-2-3 record. Judy Bonneville played in the number one position with a 7-4 season and Yvonne Lopez, who had the best record of 9-1, played number two position. Number three position was played by Kathy Cocetti who had an 8-2 season. Doubles teams were, number one, Debbie Erickson and Cindy Cruz, number two, Barbara Smith and Vicki Ostrus, and number three Kay Thomas and Anne Castagneri. Kay Thomas and Anne Castagneri qualified for state in doubles.

BOY'S TRACK The Northglenn track team captured its 4th consecu- tive League and District meet championships. This year's team not only took District honors, but also won titles at the Loveland Invitational and at the Sky- line League Relays. The team was led well by its captains Bob jackson and Greg Flickinger. Bob jackson was a district champion in the mile run and state runner-up as he established a new school record with a 4:21.9 time. Greg Flickinger placed 2nd in the dis- trict meet in the triple jump and ran legs in the 880 and mile relays. Bart Ginther also captured a district title in the high hurdles and placed 2nd in the lows. Dave Chase in the 2-mile run established a new record of 9:40. 3 and Kent Davis pole vaulted 13'6 . Four relay records were also made by the 2-mile relay, distance medly, mile medly and sprint medly teams. One other school record was established in the State Pentathalon as Bart Ginther scored 4,059 points and took Sth in the State. , If Zz 2 4.
