TIMES OF OUR LIVES Not going everyday at 7:15 to this old school is going to make me miss it evengmore. I remember 7 my first year here and how big and lonely this place seemed. . . I remember searching the stairway and hallways, and asking upper-classmen where my classes were. . ,. I remember hoping to findsomeone to share my confusion with. . . I ' And feeling so much happier whenever ,someone smiled and that ' V 'somehow calmed me. I For a while, - I wondered how I was ever going to fit into this very strange and different world. . . But now I wonder .... What I was so worried about. . . My confidence grew along with the fun. I can't forget a variety of unforgetable characters of the people' Pve met here. There were those I always felt close to, admired, and looked up to, and those who took a little getting used to. There were teachers that I loved because of the way they taught, and teachers that I loved and learned alot more from than the subject taught. . . There were upper-classmen who awed me at all times, and lower-classmen who seemed to stand in my shadow. Most important of all, V ' there were the good friends I made here. . . and all the hard, sad, happy, and wonderful times we shared. I remember times when we won together, and times when we lost together. . . How can you say thank you for so many beautiful memories? 142 I remember autumn ' V ' when it rained ALL ' ,a,,,, Q ' V the for three 'r-,i I remember I remember thE2 Q.32giiI55f?8,i the heartachesgl Zii I remember the who died, out I remember the new friends I found. I remember the winters, warm with the glow of holiday ' spirits. S I remember springtimes, that made us all in love with the weather, nature, and others. And long, lazy summer vacations when we all went our separate ways, and in the fall, all came together again. . . Looking back, It's amazing that so many wonderful things could have happened in just these past three years. . . It won't be easy saying good-bye to this school and all my friends. . . and to my old way of life. . . But I have so much more to learn about the world and about myself. It's time for me to go on my own way. I only know that wherever I may go, and whatever I may do, The days I've spent rightfhere will always be aygeryflispecial part of my life. . . , '-'1' ' if My happiest and best days of my life were spent right here at Northglenn High School
