IF ALL THE HANDS THAT I REACH COULD ONLY TOUCH. I think the school in lVIexico is different from here because in IVlexico the buildings are very big and high . In IVlexico, elementary school is Primaria, junior high is Secondaria, and high school Bachillerato , The school I attended in lVIexico is named Ateneo, it is located in Coahuila University We go to school at 8:00 am and go home to eat at 12:00 noon, we return to school at 2:00 pm , I think this school is very good because it has the necessary things and no more, the education in this school is very high . I live near Monterey City in lVIexico, near the mountains but it doesn't snow very much! Ramon Garza OUR FRIENDSHIP WILL NOT BE ERASED BY THE PASSAGE OF TIME I have been in America for nine months, and now it is time for me to return to my home country, Sweden . It has been an exciting experience for me to live and go to school in a foreign country, especially one as in- teresting as America. FOREIGN EXCHANGE IVIiles separate us, lVIemories bind us, We are apart, But we are together Hi! 'm an exchange student from Karlskoga, Sweden and have seen in America since August 1973 . Some of my time, I've spent on the east coast but I by far prefer the mountain country of Colorado. This is probably because of the great s4iing at places such as Vail and Copper IVIountain . Colorado was some of the best ski slopes in the world. really like the people here too. They are warm and friendly and have been very nice to me , The food, though, seems strange to me. It is all the same -- Big lVlac hamburgers every other day. But, I have to admit I like them . One of the biggest surprises l had in America was my first football game. I walked in the stadium expecting the players to kick the ball, like they do in soccer. I didn't realize that soccer here is called soccer and not football as it is in Europe . Europe doesn't have American football but after this year's football season, I decided American football is not too dumb of a game . Lastly, I want to thank all the teachers in N .G.H .S .that really helped me and all the students that made my time here even better.
