THE DYNAMIC DEMONETTE' ARGENTINA, the second largest country in South America, is a land of spectacular natural beauty, astonishing contrasts, and myriad attractions as varied as its topography and climate. About U3 the size of the continental U. S. A.. the central part is mild with wide desolate pampas and the western part is snow-clad Andes Mountains. Most of the inhabitants are descendants of the ancient Indians and 9796 are European emigrants in the last century from Spain and Italy. Its dynamic capital Buenos Aires is the biggest city south of the equator and has the widest avenues in the world. Argentina. the 5th largest wine producer in the world, also produces wheat, cattle, com, flax, cotton, sugarcane, and sheep.
