The countryside has crocodiles, bears, boars, monkeys, sapirs, 5 deer, leopards, rhinoceroses, wild tigers, and an Asia wild ox called sladang. i From the northeastern great plateau region we get rosewood, hides, silk, and stick-lac. In the southeast, there are forested hills, hot springs, waterfalls, and coastal jungles. Thailand exports rice, teak, rubber, maize, jute, and tapioca. There are papermills, machinery plants, and tin and tungsten exports. japanese trade has been greatest, but Thailand has resisted domination from any other country.
