' Stairway to Heaven rw streamers of royal blue, sky blue and ivory accented by strands of shimmering silver tinsel and chandeliers made up the false walls and ceiling for the 1977 Prom held on May 7. The theme of the prom: Stairway to Heaven, was displayed by a golden stairway outlined with twinkling lights and angel ' s hair. Centerpieces of royal blue and ivory feathers and silver stars dec- orated each table. The entertain- ment was provided by the Circus City Six. They set the mood of the prom by playing the theme song. The evening was a memo- rable tribute to the Class of 1977. ' rjWT r - - 1. Tammy Deeter and Lalon Allen dis- cuss the evening ' s festivities after they were done passing out flowers and books. 2. Curt Holmes and Lisa Kitchen dance the night away. 3. Mr. and Mrs. Griffith seem startled by the camera flash. 4. Mr. Rust makes his grand entrance.
