Look..Jt s AH Smiles In the midst of a very successful football season an air of excitement rose from the halls of NHS, on Oc- tober 8th, as the student body prepared for a victo- rious Homecoming against Whites Institute. The theme for 1976-77 Homecoming was The Animated World of Walt Disney. Float judging included fresh- men winning fourth place using characters from Cap- tain Hook; seniors placed third basing their float on The Jungle Book; sophomores placed second with Winnie-the-Pooh and the juniors winning first place with their float displaying Dumbo the flying elephant. On that very chilly night. Miss Pat Meston stepped down from her reign as Homecoming Queen to give the title to Miss Debbie Winters, junior. Her court in- cluded Wendy Holman, senior; Rosie Kramer, soph- omore; and Cambi Rensberger, freshman. The junior class also took the winning Homecoming King votes with their candidate Perry Van Meter. The other class candidates were Mitch Beals, senior; Brian Reed, sophomore; and JefF Mowery, freshman. The Homecoming events ended with a dance in the cafeteria following the game.
