Roger Meyer takes final glance before going to class. JUDY PRICE RICHARD RONDEAU English is required in tine ninth, tenth, and eleventh grades. A person taking English receives two credits per year. Senior English, English Literature, Communications, Speech, and Journalism are also offered. The seventh and eighth graders and the seniors taking Senior English v ould go to the reading lab- oratory one day a week. This was to improve one ' s speed in reading and increase one ' s vocabulary. Our reading laboratory is equipped with the best facilities and is a help to all who use it. All students are required to take one year of mathematics. Two credits are re- ceived for one year of math. The many courses offered in mathematics are General Mathematics, Algebra I, Algebra II, Plane Geometry, Trigonometry, and College Mathe- matics. Students are taught how to use a compass, protractor, and a slide rule in these courses.
