Janet Hance ended her senior volleyball season with 435 straight good serves and a 96.7 average serving percentage. The team, led by co-captains Janet Hance and Jean Kinsella, ended their season with an overall record of 8 wins and 'IA losses. Coach Puppe was especially impressed with the team's improvement in offensive fire power. Hard work was important, but this year's team really had special spirit to carry them through their season. They built a terrific Homecoming float and even did a great cheer for the Homecoming pepfest. Traditions were also important especially for the season's initiation breakfast. The three returning letterwinner's QJanet Hance, Jean Kinsella, and Sarah Bensonj got everyone else on the team up and took them to McDonalds for breakfast while they were still wearing their pajamas. Janet Hance received All-Conference Honors. Jean Kinsella was voted All-Conference Honorable Mention as well as Most Valuable Player. Congratulations to the JV C43-Ay, Sophomores Q8-63 and undefeated Freshmen.
