NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY The National Honor Society is an organization which recognizes the out- standing high school students of the nation. These students receive member- ship in the society as the result of election by the faculties of the individual schools. The candidates are chosen on the basis of scholarship, leadership, service, and character. A total of fifteen per cent of the graduating class is elected to membership, Ten per cent are chosen in their junior year, and an additional live per cent are chosen in their senior year. Under the sponsorship of Mr. Anderson, the group assists in many school activities, including the su- pervision of the point system. President: John A.
