ENGLISH REVIEW CLUB The obiective of the English Review Club is to prepare students for the English section of the College Entrance Examina- tion Boards. Mr. Stanewick directs the club which reviews vocabulary, grammar, and literature by testing its member's abilities on various practice quizzes. ENGLISH REVIEW CLUB After reviewing for College Boards until March, the thirty members of this section of the English Review Club, under the leadership of Mr. Koch, were given an opportunity to increase their appreciation of American and British literature. ARCHITECTS' CLUB The Architects Club, under the guidance of Mr. Czirr, presents to its twenty mem- bers an opportunity for original design work in the various fields of drafting, particularly architecture. VALLEY ENGINEERS CLUB The main function of the Valley Engineers Club, under the direction of Mr. Cimmino, is to foster an interest in civil engineering by observation of stand- ard building practices. Many informa- tive discussions are held concerning the practical applications of engineering to various types of construction and archi- tecture. President: Mark Spitzer, Sec- retary-Treasurer: Joe Kraus. RUSSIAN CLUB Sponsored by Mr. Stanewick, the Russian Club is one of Northern Valley's newest and most interesting clubs. The mem- bers learn on an elementary level the anthology, pronunciation and usage of the Russian language. President: John Logsdon. AUDIO-VISUAL AIDS CLUB The Audio-Visual Aids Club assists at all school affairs where they operate movies and slide proiectors. Under the sponsor- ship of Mr. Schrock, these students, who are interested in such mechanics, also provide classrooms with protection equip- ment.

P11 1 .ll F. T. A. CLUB The purpose of the Future Teachers of America, sponsored by Miss Trexler, is to interest its members in a career in teaching. The thirty-five members spon- sor two Tag Days each year, and the proceeds of these go toward a scholar- ship for a senior who plans to enter the teaching profession. NORVALIS CHAPTER OF THE NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY The Norvalis Chapter of the National Honor Society is comprised of selected students of the Senior Class who are chosen because of their leadership, schol- arship, service, and character.
