This club, like its sister club, the Sf. Tri-Hi'Y, selis Booster Bus tickets, ushers at, concertssgiven by our music depart- ment, pguns varied programs of interest to the girls, gttepdslepunty functions sponsored by th,e'YLMfCZA. ' GIRLS' SHOP The obiective of the club is to teach girls the proper use of tools and how to make minor re- pairs in and about the home. The girls meet weekly in the wood shop under the able direc- tion of Mr. Steckline. 85

JUNIOR RED CROSS The Junior Red Cross is a service organization in which the girls spend most of their time entertaining at hospitals, sending packages to needy families in disaster areas, and giving their service to the community and the school. The club is sponsored by Miss De Rosa. Offic- ers: Loraine Laurence, president, Winifred Gara- fala, vice-president, Marie Lackavare, treasurer, Nancy Augestine, recording secretaryg Diana Blankenstein, corresponding secretary. AUTO OWNERS' MECHANIC CLUB - GIRLS Girls of the Auto Owners Club are never at a loss when it comes to changing a tire. Mr. Ungar helps them understand the mechanics and function of a car in modern living. Presi- dent, Anne Heid, Adviser, Mr. Ungar. xii AUTO OWNERS' MECHANIC '- BOYS The membl?l.0f f1'iQ Auto Owners Club are interested in from the standpoint of mechanics andiifunction. Field trips to the Ford Plant and to the auto show were some of the club's most interesting proiects. President, Pete McClain, Vice-President, Jerry Batsone, Adviser, Mr. Ungar.
