SENIOR PLAY Changing the pace from that of previous comedy productions, the Class of '58 pre- sented a courtroom drama, The Night of January l6th . December 5th and 6th will be remembered by play-goers as the nights Karen Andre, defendent, and Mr. Stevens, her lawyer, fought for her life. Mr. Leonard, Director Grahm Whitfield, charged the defendent with the murder of her employer Biorn Faulk- ner. A iury of 12 was selected from the audi- ence. After testimonies of witnesses, hysteri- cal outbreaks, and the accumulation of con- troversial evidence, the iury was dismissed to decide the fate of Karen Andre. What was the verdict? Geoff Myers, president of the class and Sue Endres, general chairman, did a remarkable iob. The audience enioyed watching a group of solo selections including a tap dance, piano solo, and two impersonations. Last, but not least, were the Calendar Girls dressed in colorful costumes, each signifying the months of the year.
