X 7 -J ,f rf fff 7 ,iv ' lf? fl f' V A ' I f ,f CHOIR This year's choir, under the direction of Mr. Dean Simpson, presented the Christmas Concert, Spring Concert, and an exchange assembly at Ridgewood High School as their main attractions. 2 Z 4 THE DANCE BAND Designed to train students to play dance music, the Dance Band, under the direction of Mr. Brown, has fast become a favorite among the students. It was most evident by the warm approval of the band's appearances in the Sen- ior Assembly and at the Senior Dance. 98 THE ORCHESTRA The Christmas Program, the Gondoliers, and the Spring Music Festival are all indebted to Mr. Brown and his talented orchestra. The group of music lovers deals chiefly with string instruments, but also teaches other members orchestral music as compared with band music.

This year its mem- bers participated in the Christmas program, the op- eretta, and the Spring Festi- val. ls: will GIRLS' GLEE CLUB All those girls who like to sing have plenty of opportunity when they ioin the Glee Club. Open to all gir except Freshmen, the Glee Club successfully entertained during the Fall Concer d the Spring Music Festival. MODERN CHOIR Blending their voices in contemporary harmony, the twenty-five members of our newly-formed musical or- ganization, under the direc- tion of Mr. Simpson, meet weekly to sing and learn the music of modern com- posers. The group performs at assemblies and concerts sponsored by the music de- partment. 99 S J
