Key players hampered with iniuries were frequently unable to participate in our heavy schedule. Although these iniuries hampered the physical status of the team they added to the determination and moral attitude of the entire squad. This determination finally paid off for on October 20 1956 Northern Valley upset a favored Park Ridge football team 7-6 and gained the first victory in their career. This game brought out some of the fine qualities of some of the future Valley football heroes and gives the school a football team to look forward to in the coming years. 1 M51 1 is
