GOLF CLUB Under the supervision of Mr. Colantoni, the members of the Golf Club aimed to improve their golfing skills and techniques. Par- ticipants of the club were chosen by Mr. Colantoni at try-outs, which were held early in the fall, and club members met every Wednesday for practice. PHOTOGRAPHY CLUB The Photography Club tried to make itself financially independ- ent by selling, to the student body, photographs which its members had taken. Mr. Ritchie, advisor, stated, To interest the student in a means of expression, to create an enioyable hobby, and to keep a photographic rec- ord of school activities is the club's main obiective. Its members learned about different plays and the steps in the production of a play under the direction of Mr. Leonard, the club's advisor. The club assisted with the scenery for both the Junior and Senior Plays. The members produced a few short plays during the year, the cli- max of the year was the pro- duction of a one-act play during the Drama Festival Week. Back Row: Mr. R. AUTO MAINTENANCE X X CLUB Meeting with Mr. Ling, General Machines and Electricity teacher, these boys learned the basic duties needed to keep a car in good running condition. Tighe, R. Walworth L Sypher J Fish FUTURE NURSES CLUB This club consisted of girls who planned to become nurses after high school or college. The girls visited different hospitals and had guest speakers talk to them about different fields of nursing. The club's activities consisted of making favors for sick children and seeing films on medical topics.
