On the 22nd they splurged the Mtd Wtnter Ball a serm formal dance open to the publtc Agam they started a magazlne and card campa1gn shared w1th the Jumors and sophomores They also sold note paper decorated w1th a sketch of the new school buxldtng, Most of the semors parttctpated tn County Chorus or County Band or both on the lst of May O1 May 3rd they held thetr Sen1or ,Tumor Banquet and Prom the long awatted occas1on of the year The last week of May was so hecuc they d1dn t have ume to feel sad about leavtng school and old fr1ends Baccalaureate servtces were held on the 26th and on Wednesday the 29th came the mght they had all alternatel longed for and dreaded for twelve years graduatton S1tt1ng very solemnly and feehng, terrtbly tmportant and lonely they recetved thetr dlD1Om3S A few evenmgs later they held thetr class mght one last chance to show off They left on ,Tune 2nd for Washtngton, D C , and one last Fhnq before thev all went thetr Separate waus 23 .- A.
