Sponsored by the Student Senate, the day's agenda included an assembly featuring a slave sale, Climaxing Sadie Hawkins Day was the coronation of Mari- lyn Hill as Daisy Mae and Nick Baade as Lil' Abner at the dogpatch dance. In the background at the right is the greased pole climb. ln the girls' pole climb Pam Q'Mealey, Judith LaRue, and Karen Bush tied for first place. First place in the boy's pole climb went to Gary Cleve- land and Frank LeRoy. a dogpatch melodrama, and faculty Lil' Abner and Daisy Mae contest. Glenda, Jackie, and Grace help compliment the refreshment table. Mr. and Mrs. Kirtley enjoy the dancing and music as much as the students. Sleigh Bells Ring was the theme for the formal Christmas Prom sponsored by the sophomore class. A ski lodge setting was planned for the lobby and the dance section simulated an outdoor scene.
