Easterling, president of Northern since 1953, has established an extensive renovation and building program that has made NOJC one of Oklahorna's grandest schools. A man with great charm and diplomacy, Northern's leader is a devoted educator whose door is always open to stud ents and faculty for friendly confer- ences. The genial p r e sid en t' s interests outside his Wilkin office are widely dive rs i fi ed and include service to his church, public speaking, civic, state, and national organizations, naval affairs and agri- culture. The president's family includes daughters Connie and Verla Sue with Ivlrs. Easterling seated between, and sons Lael and Robert, standing. 5
