The Round-Up staif is honored to dedicate the 1950- 51 yearbook to Miss Annie E. Bell, Mrs. Lulu Soland Doenges, and Mrs. Louise Steele Johnson, professors emer- itus of Northern Oklahoma Junior College. Hundreds of former students remember with grat- itude and affection their scholarship, their kindliness, and their constant encouragment and interest in the young people who came under their guidance. Above all, they remember the sterling character and idealism that motivated their work in the classroom and in the many other activities of which they were a part.

You students here at Northern Oklahoma Junior College are in the important phase of your life. The days spent here will decide your entire future. You perhaps don't quite realize how important you are to the present and future welfare of Oklahoma and the nation. The world is not passing you by, as it may now seem. Instead, you are laying the groundwork for becoming our future leaders. I want to impress upon you that the efforts you are now expending will be repaid in s thousand times. There will be many changes for some of you in the coming months, but I sincerely hope that'your desire for greater knowledge and understanding will not desert you.
