Its activities this year include: playing at all home football games, presenting two assembly programs, and going on tours to several surrounding high schools. Each spring the band presents a formal concert and plays for the Baccalaureate and Commencement exercises. Also, during the spring, hand members are hosts to visiting high school hands at the district music contest. Several members of the band have been featured soloists during the year. They are: Joe Rash, Charles Liegerot, Mary Lou Gorman, Barbara Huffman, Dale Ortloff, ,Iune Hooker, and Elma Jean 0'Mealey.

Spanish Club After a year's absence, the Spanish Club has once again been formed on the campus. It is composed of students who are taking, or have taken a course in Spanish. The object of the club is a better understanding of the language and customs of our: Spanish speaking neighbors.
