The Razzhounds, N.0..l.C.'s Mens' Pep Club, was organized in 19-. In the succeeding years, this organization has been active as a pep squad for all athletic events. uring the 1950 football season, the Razzhounds operated the concession stand for the home games. Some of the proceeds from this activity were used to charter a bus to Warner, where mem- bers attended the Connors-N.0.,l.C. football game This spring, the Razzhounds sponsored a talent show in which the various campus orgainiza tions participated. Bill McKenzie, elected president for 1950-51, was called to active service with the 4-5th Di- vision. Following his resignation, the following oflicers were elected: Dewey Buck, president, Charles Liegerot, vicelpresidentg Terry White, secretary-treasurer. Mr. Olin D. Walcher has served as sponsor for the group.

The Razzettes is a girls' pep club, organized in the fall semester of 1939, whose purpose is to promote enthusiasm and loyalty on the campus, at contests, and other school activities. One of the most active organizations on the campus, the Razzettes took part in many activities during thefyear. The club had charge of the sports dances following the football and basketball games. Officers elected to serve for the first semestter were Mrs. Doris Cotton Saulsberry, presidentg Gloria Metzer, vice-president, Mrs, Margaret Currier Wells, secretary, and Darleen Reese, treasurer. Mary Wells served as social chairman. ' The highlight of the activities for the first semester was the trip to Wamer when the Connor Aggies metwthe Mavericks. ' The second semester found Gloria Metzer stepping into the presidents' shoes following the resignation of Mrs. Saulsberry. Other otiieers elected were Judy Sharp, vice-president: Elma Jean 0'Mealey, secretary, and Darleen Reese, treasurer. During the second semester the Annual Sweetheart Prom, which was held in the drawing room of Threlkeld, was the mainevent.
