' Intervarsity Christian Fellowship Intervarsity Christian Fellowship is an inter- denominational evangelical fellowship group having as its primary aim the promotion of Christian faith and stimulating spiritual growth among the students. There are many chapters on colleges and university campuses throughout the world. Northern's I.V.C.F. Chapter meets weekly for Bible studies and Christian fellowship. Several social events are sponsored during the year. During the past year several members attended the Conference held at Gitche-Gummee Bible Confer- ence at Ironwood. A conference with the Michigan Tech Chapter was held at Northern during the sec- ond semester.

The Lutheran Students Association is a national organization established to promote a spirit of fellow- ship among Lutheran students, to encourage partici- pation in religious activities and to provide opportunity for discussion of religious problems encountered by college students. Meetings are held once a month in Lee Hall Conference Room where group discussions take place. This past year the L.S.A. sent three delegates to the Land O' Lakes Regional Convention of the L.S.A. in December. The members had their first get-together in the fall with a Potluck Supper to which all contri- buted. Mr. Fritz was featured as guest speaker at the annual Christmas dinner of the club. Other speakers in the religious and educational vein have been scheduled for regular meetings. Concluding the year's activities is the annual Sunrise Breakfast at Presque Isle which appeals to the more hardy Lutheran students.
