FRENCH CLUB The 1953-1954 season of the French Club of Northern Michigan College of Education enjoyed one of its most successful years. Welcoming as its mem. bers all those majoring or minoring in French, the club meets once a month and is guided toward more fluent speech and enjoyment of French by its advisor, Miss Loubert. The activities for the year included group singing and game playing after the regular meetings. Of course, French was the only language spoken during these meetings. The years activities were concluded by an informal dinner given by Miss Loubert at which a French menu was featured.

SPANISH CLUB The Spanish Club, comprised of those majoring or minoring in the Span- ish language, enjoyed a very successful 1953-1954 season. The meetings are designed to further fluency in the language and interest in Spanish literature and customs. The activities of the club were planned with this goal in view and included such things as short plays done in Spanish, group singing of Spanish songs, and the annual Spanish Christmas party.
