Wesley Foundation The purpose of the Wesley Foundation is to pro- ide for the intellectual, moral and religious care nd instruction of students of Northern Michigan llege of Education, especially those who are ad- erents of the Methodist Church. The organization eets each Sunday evening during the college year for a supper and program. Each spring a delegation of about thirty students attends the Michigan Stu. dent Christian Convocation in lower Michigan. The Wesley Foundation also sponsors recreational and social events at frequent intervals throughout the year. 125

Newman Club The Newman Club is the campus organization which aims at keeping the Catholic students in spiritual, intellectual, cultural, and social contact with their church. Organized in 1926, the Newman Club is an affiliate of the Newman Club Federation, which is a national association and a part of the National Catholic Welfare Council located in Wash- ington, D. C.
