4 f GODIN A man that was hard to move out of the way was Godin, and no wonder. as he was the heaviest man on the squad. Wfhen he was determined not to he taken out of the play he wasn't. and he did not prove this any more eonelusivelv than in the Oshkosh game. He got a poor start at the early part of the season, hut once he got going' he was hard to stop, and made the regulars step to keep. their positions. llll l lil' R61 ern's h wavs there he did here. 1 Central 65 Northern, 0. Q. Lauri llillherg' proved himself to he one of North- est players during the past season. Ile was al- . in the line, silent, hard-working', and swift as a deer. His defensive playing' was a marvel, and no team found him for consecutive gains. Lauri is one of our best, and we hope he does as well at West Point as Page Ninety-nine

XV.-XSSIZIQRCI The lleetest player on the squad, and whose speed was a feature in Northern's 323-7 victory over Michigan Tech, was XVassberg, otherwise known as XVassie . Playing his first season as a regular, Wfassie always showed a clean pair of heels to everyone. llis end run- ning aud cutbacks were an encouragement to his team- mates, and no game displayed his ahilities as did that with Michigan 'l'ech. .Xnother feature of that tilt was his running hack of the visitors' punts.
