It would appear that congratulations are in order! 7-The basketball boys are back. The season over, and only defeated three 10 10 18 22 times. Kalamazoo and Ypsi defeated us, but our self-respect was rather bolstered by the fact that we were victors over Central. Rah! for our side! -Upper Peninsula llasketball Tournament begins. How we hate these activi- ties that interfere with our school work! Anastasia Maloney shed copious tears because of the 'fact that on lfriday she would have no gym class, and jimmy Mac requested that the library be left open so he could have his usual library date. Peace reigns at Maloney's. lloth Ironwood and Calumet are singularly' quiet. Why? Wfell. a few lost their voices and the rest could End nothing to sav. --Now. the Girls' Inter-Class llasketball Tournament! Kid lloteson's team defeats .l'hy Ed's and wins tournament. --Carl Guelff cannot studv for his exams. The remedy? A letter from Le- hore, that Superior co-ed. You know in the spring a young' man's fancy- Lenore! Lenorel What more! XVhat more! 21.-Faculty reception to March Grads. And we imagine that Lorraine will soon n be the belle of Beechwood! 2.3-Doe Lowe, in preparation for exam, attended the show last evening to see how many students he could depend on Hunking.
