g 526.1 GUELFF Aman who will be very much missed when the 1927 season rolls around is Yutch Guelff. He finished his fourth year of brilliant work in holding down the left tackle job. ANDERLE Dog was an ideal type of a player for end. He performed on the left ex- tremity in a manner that made it hard for the opposing team to get around him. LEONARD A shifty, tricky open field runner and an able place-kicker, he' alternated at half with the other baekficld men. DEAN A bulwark on both offense and de- fense, a terror to his opponents, he played his left guard position in the way that labelled him a troublesome performer to his football enemies. HOGAN A Marquette lrligh School product, who won his letter at the end position. He is excellent material for next yea1 s eleven. SWANSON llenny Swanson, tackle, another four-year man who will leave North- ern, was another veteran who could be depended on to hold his own. He was a tower of strength in the games that he played in. RONBERG Allan Ronberg, center, a first year man from Negaunee, was a cool, heady player, a corking good passer, and a strong defense man. KILSDONCK Northern had another strong per- former in Kilsdonck, who has com- pleted his second year of competition. He was a halfback who was speedy and able to hit the line. I-IARDIMON A fast, strong and steady perform- er, with a knack of snagging forward passes out of the air, made him an important cog at right end in the 1926 machine. DBCOOK joe DeCook alternated at the center position with Ronberg. Great things are expected of him next fall, COLLINS Another Negaunee product was Doc Collins, who gave an admirable account of himself at the right guard position. GUSTAFSON Possessing the brains and the brawn, he saw action as a backtield man.
