'LF gn. mf ff y 'Q 3 t. my f Qt Your school is interested not only in the knowledge you gained from the basic subjects but also in your health, your ability to get along with your fellow classmates, your ability to participate in group activities and in your con- structive life work. The school has tried to provide an education which will help you to become the type of citizen needed in a democracy. You have learned to think independently. In the years a- head you will make many choices. May you think clearly through all your problems and choose wisely so that your Alma Mater may be justly proud of you. I extend my congratulations and best wishes to each member of the 1955 graduating class. Mr. Henry Wenger Supervising Principal To the Members of the Class of 1955: Twelve years ago you entered school for the first time. Many of you began school life in this areag others first entered school in other localitiesg some in other states. The fortunes of life brought you to- gether in Northern Lebanon Joint High School. For the past four years it has been your stage. All of you have played a part in the drama of high school lifeg some have play- ed many parts. In As You Like It , Shakespeare says: One man in his life time plays many parts. This immortal line expresses your destiny. All of you will have many re- sponsibilities and obligationsg some will have an op- portunity to make large contributions in money and services. Our dream is that all of you will play your part nobly and with consideration and helpfulness to others President Lincoln once said, I hold that while man exists, it is his duty to improve, not only his own con- dition, but to assist in ameliorating the conditions of mankind. Your school can bestow no better benediction than to urge you to follow the injunction of our great martyred President. May all of you take with you from Northern Lebanon Joint High School a deep love andre- spect for all men. May you comfort those who mourng help those in distressg share with the needy, and finally may you fully respect the personality of all people. Mr. John Rs Roberts Principal
