Jerry Conlogue, forward. A first year man who uses his surprising speed to great scoring advantage. A. Tony ffelinek, center. The tall boy who always places N. I. C. in a scoring position by his ability to get the tipfoff. R. Rus King, guard. A fine defense man with a fighting spirit. Rus was a two year man and a big factor in the team's success. R. Rich Needles, guard. A great defense player and a constant menace to opposing forwards. W. L'Bi11 Meikle. Bill serves with ex' ceptional ability in the double capacity of guard and assistant coach. E. Gene Gewe, forward. A little fel' low who plays a big game with amazing flash and speed. E. Em Soland, forward. A fast, clean playing boy whose dependable support will be missed next year. R. Ev Everett, guard. Another ban' tamfweight. Dynamite isn't very heavy either! W. Bill Whitehead, guard. A good man, always to be depended on. 1932 T H E F O C U S FortyfSeven Basket Ball 4 HE 1931f32 hardwood season com' prising 20 games ended with N. I. C. winning eleven and losing nine. The crimson and red boys played a bang' up game in every contest, losing several games by a one point margin. Sweet ref venge had her say on a couple occasions, N. I. C. winning from teams that had been the victors in previous games of the year. Coach Breslin whipped the team into shape early in the season and kept every man on his toes working to hold his posi' tion. Prospects for next year seem unusually bright, although some valuable men of the squad do not return. Those graduating are: Capt. Peterson, King, Soland, Cewe and Cowan.
