The Student Council, under the guidance and with assistance of Mr. Whitmer, has successfully completed its work for this semester. The president of each house is usually elected to the Student Council. This semester we have only two boys ' houses, so it was necessary to select two other students for filling the position. Members of the Student Council are composed of ten 12A ' s worthy of its honor and two 12B representatives, a girl and a boy. With the help of other select seniors, they compile the Viking. The Stu¬ dent Council participates in patriotic activities of the school and assists in new projects of any kind which pertain to the students. Some of our chief aims are to improve the school activities and help main¬ tain a greater school spirit. We, the Student Council, wish to thank Mr. Whitmer for helping us make our task easy and enjoyable. Page nineteen
