Kaupie on senior trip. Reverend Kaup behind the pulpit. Mr. K. on Farmers' Day. Coach Kaup and his Teener Team. DEDICATION The class of l957 proudly dedicates this book to Mr. Arthur T. Kaup, known as Rev. Kaup to his congregationsf Coach Kaup to his teams, and many times affectionately as Kaupie to his friends. This versatile gentle- man has given twenty-nine years of service to this community. Mr. Kaup could rightfully be called a 7'coal-cracker because he came from a small town, Frackville, in the coal region of Pennsylvania. His first job in this community was that of a minister in the Evangelical and Reformed Church, in which capacity he is still serving. Because of a need for school teachers, he began teaching social studies at Dillsburg High School, and has coached football, soccer, and volleyball teams. He is an ardent admirer of sports, and has aided not only our school but also our community in athletic activities, he is presently Athletic Director at North- ern High School. Ivlr. Kaup is also active in many other civic and community groups. We, the members of the class of l957, will especially remember Mr. Kaup for his friendliness, helpfulness, and wit. Very seldom was there a dull moment when he was around. With much admiration and respect, we dedicate our Panorama to Mr. Arthur T. Kaup, our teacher and friend.
