at Q adm Upon entering Wildanger Field House the night of November 22, 1957, it was easy to see how well the theme of the Junior Prom, Silhouettes , had been carried out. Against the background of the many dif- ferent silhouettes, the gaily swirling couples M J danced to the music of the Russ Berryman orchestra. The white silhouettes of the differ- ent band instruments clearly stood out against the background of black around the stage. The centerpieces on white covered tables L were black wire figures of a dancing couple. g The balloon infested ceiling added to the gaiety of the i957 Junior Prom. ln the lobby, the scene also presented more silhouettes. Pinned to the front of the white punch table, were black silhouettes of three dancing couples. The centerpiece for the punch table was a bouquet of black and white carnations in a low black vase.
