The year is 2008. The N.H.S. class of 1988 is having its 20-year reunion at Mazzio's in Emporia. The class of 1988 will be greeted first by the head parking attendant. Brad Massey, who is also the guest speaker Next they will be seated by the new owner of Mazzio's. Tiffany Eastman. Mike Zumbrum is the first to arrive at 6:45, speeding in his little Monza because he is 15 minutes late according to his invitation. Marty Rice and Chris Roberts arrive next. Marty and Chris designed and sent the computerized invitation to everyone. Marty completely computerized the McDonald's chain. Chris has become a world-famous artist. Don Shope pulls up in his donut truck. Don took over Dunkin Donuts and brought one dozen of everybody's favorite donut. Ginger Gatewood and Kelli Weber arrive next. They begin setting up posters of Ginger's famous cartoons. Kelli draws parttime for Ginger and has a large horse ranch in her spare time. The entertainment for the evening begins setting up. Ron Brunkow, a famous card dealer from Vegas, sets up his table while Stephanie Lindsay, a show girl from Vegas, and Julie Sattler. a singer from Vegas, also set up their equipment for the show. John Milner pulls up with his semi of beer from St. Louis. Mo. John became a world-famous truck driver by making the 1st non-stop beer run around the world. The rest of the alumni begin arriving. Mark Moser arrives in one of his many fine G.M. vehicles He has taken over his father's dealership Mark has a close business relationship with Kevin Shearer, who owns Shearer's Savage Salvage Yard. Kevin supplies Mark with parts to rebuild cars. A white Odsmobile pulls up. out jumps Mark Watford, who sets the world record for breaking the most opponents' noses in a single season. Mark is carrying a drive shaft for Kevin's collection. Mike Z smiles slyly and asks where he “found that'' Mark grins and says he doesn't recall. However, the rumor went around that Tricia and Howard have been plagued by a few mechanical problems with their squad car that day. Flashing lights appear on the horizon. As they grow nearer the car can be made out as being a Highway Patrol car. It is Howard Crabtree 8c Tricia Gundy. Howard 8c Tricia are Kansas Highway Patrol men. The next to arrive is Jason Jenkins, head of the weapons department of the Central Intelligence Agency. He has been busy working undercover protecting our beautiful nation. Running in after Jason is Laurie Davidson followed by Kristi Bishop on her moped. Laurie is trying to become the next President of the United States. Kristi is Laurie's campaign manager. She is using her old government notes to help with the campaign. Matthew E. Mercer, Esq. arrives in style in his flamingo pink, stretch limo, complete with personal Dlates entitled “Snorkel . Matt has replaced the former writer of “Good Evening in the Emporia Gazette and has changed the name to “Bits of Wisdumb and syndicated it. Suddenly a dot appears on the horizon. As it draws closer, everyone is able to make out the figures of Stewart Anderson and Jeff Schroeder, on a Lamborghini hood being pulled by Shawn Barger The trio is what is known as the Olympic Carhooding Team, and have over the past six years, acquired five golds and missed a gold on the other one because of a near fatal accident. In their spare time the olympians acquired Christmas trees to give to needy people. The sound of screaming tires can be heard as Jim Moore slides into the parking lot. Jim became a world renowned pool player. In his spare time he developed a car specifically to out-run cop cars. Out of the sky a hand suddenly appears, standing behind the pulpit is the Rev. John Wilmore. John is now the President of the PTL Club and owns many resort homes for the members of the class of 1988. Pulling into the parking lot next in what seems to be a car with a set of teeth with braces glued to the roof is. Dr. “T , better known as Alan Kaniper. With Alan is Staci Heathman. Alan has became known for being the orthodontist that leaves the trendy gap between the two front teeth. Staci. Alan's dental hygienist campaigns everywhere they go. Their motto is “Spaces and braces make beau “T iful faces! . The next to arrive are Shannon Williams and Jennifer Haden, two of the Nobel Prize winners for a new type of steroid. Following is their guinea pig. Eric Parks, who is now Mr. America 2005. Thanks to the new steroid he has many bodybuilding awards. Stepping out of the U.S.D. 251 van and strolling in are LaDonna Magathan, Misty Heathman. Jenny Kayser and Doug Steele LaDonna and Misty are now working at Northern Heights as business teachers. They replaced Mrs. Ray and Mrs. Dhority back in 1998. Misty replaced Mrs. Ray when she became the owner of H 8t R Block and Mrs. Dhority was replaced by LaDonna when she went back to Kansas State University to teach. Jenny became the new sex education teacher at Heights, and defends her new teaching procedures by being a world class-lawyer. Doug is under contract with U.S.D. 251 to Rainbow Bright all the carpets. Jeff Houck arrives next in his blast from the past, the LORD C., a 1987 24-karat-gold-plated Ferrari, which he won in a shot slamming contest. Jeff has become a multi-millionaire by raising and training champion cutting horses. Within a few minutes a Jaguar pulls up. out climbs Diane Denison and Lori Jo Cathcart. Diane now has a very successful veterinary clinic in New York with other offices in Kentucky. Kansas, and California. Lori Jo. world-famous-fashion designer, is preparing to go to Europe to show her new line of swimsuits, but has delayed her trip to attend the reunion. Lori Hilton is the next to arrive, roaring up to the restaurant in her red Porsche 944 Turbo. Lori is a famous photographer here to take pictures of the class reunion. Next to arrive are Becky Crippen and Kjersti Dosen. Becky is a travel agent. She made the arrangements for Kjersti's return to Kansas. Kjersti is a model for Lori Jo's fashions. She has made them famous all over Europe. A yellow VW Bug carefully parks in front of the restaurant. Audrey Countryman steps out. Audrey is the head of the watercolor department at Hallmark Cards. The next to arrive are Melissa and Jacque Johnson. They took over the Johnson Johnson Company. Now that she is rich. Melissa can date guys all over the world. Jacque is glad the reunion is in Emporia, so she can also make the Vo-tech reunion. The next to arrive is Harley Davidson. Harley became famous when he fitted all his models with “flip- up shades . Robert Hutchcroft zooms in next. He is driving his world-famous El Camino, in which he broke the sound barrier in 1999 Shonna and Buster Minor are the next to arrive. They model their famous hair styles, and offer to give a free haircut to anyone who is crazy enough to want one. Thrilled to have the class all back together again. Michelle Sweet rushes into the restaurant to see all of her old friends. Michelle is living in a penthouse on top of Newman's Hospital. Jeff Emley is the last to arrive. Jeff's love for hunting led him to become the next “Crocodile Dundee . He is late because he had to walk all the way from Australia. The pizza is served shortly after 8:00 and the class of 1988 settles down to a wild and crazy night of partyin'.
