Birgitta Andersson is 17 years old and from Galiuo, Sweden. She is staying with Darrell and Suzanne Johnson. Q. What do you think of the United States? A. It is big. The people overall are very friendly. But 1 think the distance from one place to another was the biggest change for me. People seem to live so far from each other. Q. How do you like living in the United States? A. 1 think I like it. I'm not sure. I mean the United States is so big, I really cannot feel how it is to live in another part of the United States. But, I think I would have enjoyed the United States better if I had lived a little bit closer to a town. Q. What do you think of Northern Heights? A. It's small but that is ok because that way 1 know more or less everybody which makes it easier for me. I like the school and the teachers, but sometimes I think there are too many unnecessary rules. Q. What do you miss from home? A. I miss my friends terribly bad and my family. I also miss the city life and come and go without having anyone take me. Q. What are your plans for the future? A. My plans for the future will be to take my two remaining years in my Economical Line, and then I guess, try to find a job. If I can't, I guess I will go on studying, Business Economics and may even start a business. I want to thank NHHS for this year even though it hasn't been an easy one. I will really miss you all, and I hope some of you will keep in contact with me. 7
