After the band played a fanfare, it was announced that our 1972 Homecoming Queen was Denise Dorton. Brian Stinson was crowned King at the dance, after the game. He was chosen by the Pep Club, which sponsored the dance. THE JUNIORS PRESENT THE GROOM SAID NO! Steve Cameron arrives home after two years in Vietnam. At home he finds himself at a loss to know how to handle his family, who are too solicitous and domineering in trying to assist him in adjusting to civilian life. Steve dis- covers that his mother and Clara, the girl he left behind and the daughter of his mother's bosom friend, have made all arrangements for their immediate marriage. While in the army, Steve had fallen in love with Lt. Shirley An- derson, his nurse. In order to get out of marrying Clara, Steve pretends that he is a psycho-neurotic patient and that he has spells which occur without warning. Steve suggested to his mother that his former nurse, Shirley Ander- son, come and take care of him. After Shirley arrives it is a free-for-all between Clara and Shirley, but in the end everything turns out all right! Mrs. Inez Cameron Patty Cameron . . Virgie Cameron . . Mr. Cameron . . .
