The routine was inter- rupted by the arrival of Joe Pendleton, a prize fighter, W'ho refused to admit he was dead, and persuaded Jordan to look at the records which re- vealed that Joe wasn't scheduled to arrive for an- other 60 years! But, as Joe starts to return to earth to continue his fighting, word reached Heaven that Max Levene, Joe's manager, thinking he had been killed, had Joe's body cremated and Joe had no body to return to. Jordan returned Joe to earth in the body of Jonathan Farnsworth who was murdered by his wife. The comedy began when Farnsworth un- accountably went into training as a fighter. In ad- dition he decided to share his wealth and right the wrong the real Farnsworth did to Bette Logan's father. Bette found herself falling in love with Farnsworth and he with her. Just as Joe (still in Farnsworth's body) wras about to get a chance to be- come a fighter, Jordan reported that Farnsworth did not approve of Joe's treatment of his body (and money) and was raising a fuss to have it back. While deciding on another body for Joe, Jordan received a flash that K.O. Murdock, the champ, had been shot. As K.O. was about to be counted out Jordan transferred Joe's spirit in the body of K.O. Joe really became Murdock and lost memory of his pre- vious existence--including Bette. Fortunately they met, and fell in love again--and Mr. Jordan was free to head for the Hereafter, his earthly task accomplished. 10

Football Homecoming Homecoming 1969 may have been a chilly evening, but the Wildcats triumphed over the Olpe Eagles 24-6. Before the game Miss Rael Schlesener, a Senior candi- date, was crowned as Homecoming queen by last year's queen, Miss Mary Pearson. Donna Duncan, also a Senior, and Carol Duncan, a Junior, were the other two candidates. The girls were chosen by the football squad and were escorted by Donald Whittredge, Paul Whittington, Tyson Gilbert, and Bruce Day. The following Saturday night a dance was held in hon- or of the Royal Party. Donald Whittredge was crowned King by Queen Rael. He was chosen by the pep club which also sponsored the dance.
