Activities branched into the three main areas of Service, Education, and Progress. A Community service project in- cluded the adoption of a needy family at Christmas Time. School service included an N. H. H. S. Sweatshirt sale and the re-establishment of the school newspaper. To stress education, several businessmen spoke on such topics as business opportunities and careers,, Data Process- ing, and Banking at our meetings. Many members participated actively at Regional Conven- tion where James Richards placed first in the Mr. F. B. L. A. contest. Enthusiastic campaigning took place at State Contest to try to elect Dianne Parks as State Corresponding Secretary and Rael Schlesener as Region Three Vice-Pres- ident. Other members took active part in various contests. We were proud when James placed first in the State Mr. F. B. L. A. contest. Through these F. B. L. A. activities, everyone has progressed in his knowledge of business. 51 “fFe’re Behind the Team!” CHEERLEADERS: Janet Clayton, Kathy Bathurst, Jacque Calhoun, Donna Duncan, Candy Holloway.
