Senior Will We, the Seniors of 1957, being of sound mind C?l and body and realizing that we are about to depart this life at Northern High School, do desire and wish to hereby dispense with our earthly goods to those we leave behind. To the specific persons, institutions, and charities stated, we humbly request that this will and testament as herein provided be honored and all beneficiaries duly received of the gifts we so willing- ly and wholeheartedly bestow upon them. We the following to hereby will, bequeath, and otherwise give: LORNA AULT to Wilma Hanlin, her ability to go with out-of-town boys. ROBERT BARTHOLOMEW to any junior boy in Miss Schrock's English class, his English book. MARVIN BEACHY to Carl Doerr, his ability to get- along with Mr. Beachley. OLEN BEACHY to Dick Miller, his small features. ZANE BEACHY and DONA DURST to Mr.'Strauss's future biology students, their skill at cleaning dead rabbit heads. PAUL BEITZEL to anyone who wants to race with his Corvette, his ability to race. GEORGE BISHOFF to anyone that desires to do so, his natural ability to win tractor operator contests. GLENN BOWSER to his sister Norma, his car Calladonia. MAX BOWSER to anybody who can use it, his good disposition. EUGENE BRENNEMAN to anyone who needs A's in chemistry class, his ability to flirt with Mr. Keplinger's daughter. HELEN BRENNEMAN to Elaine Frantz, her ability to get along with all of her teachers, especially Mr. Davis. MAXINE BROADWATER to Glenn Bittinger, her quick temper. HERB BUTLER to Larry Bowser, his ability to stay out of trouble in Miss Speicher's class. IACK CARUTHERS to any boy who has a girl taller than he is, his height. LOUISE CODDINGTON to future majorettes, her ability to put on her leg make-up straight. KATHERINE DEIRICK to Margaret Edgar, her ability to get along with the boys from Pa. . CAROLE DURST to Nancy Durst, her ability to go steady with two boys. DEAN DURST to Darwin Robeson, his cigarette butt after practice. IESSE EASH to Larry Bowser, his ability to get along with Mr. Muha. ALLEN EDGAR to Ronnie Warren, his ability to play a bass horn. DOROTHY EDGAR to Patty Frazee, her ability to get along with boys when taking a trip to the U.N. in New York. KATHLEEN EMORY to Carolyn Close, her beat-up chemistry book. BYRON PIKE to Gloria Miller, his ability to play cards in Miss Speicher's class and not get caught. DONNA FOLK to Mr. Keplinger, her wavy hair. DON FOLK to Gertrude Robertson, Elvis Presley's hound dog. FREDDIE FRAZEE to Mrs. Falkenstine, his eyes. ESTHER FRIEND to anyone who wants it, her ability to sing alto. IANET FRIEND to her sister Mary, her ability to go steady in her senior year. MARIE FRIEND to Ann Friend, her ability to file her finger nails in Mr. Iohnson's class. MERLA GARLITZ and DORIS HUMMEL to any two junior commercial girls who are ambitious, their ability to operate the mimeograph machine. WILLIAM GOEHRINGER to Mr. Beachley, the Democratic Party. KEN GROVE to his sister Dorothy, his ability to get along with teachers. THELMA HANLIN to Ioe Friend, her cheerleading ability, with the hopes he will become Star Cheer- 1eader at Northern. RUTH ANN HARE to Darlene Hare, her two big brothers. RUTH HARE to her sister Marcella, her ability to get into Mr. Davis's class for three years. SAM HARE to his brother Adam, his bashfulness. RUTH HOCKMAN to her sister Martha, her ability to let boys alone. CLAUDE HUMBERSON to his brother Ward, his ability to get along with Hazelton girls.

The crowded halls, the earnest fun, The loyal friends that we have won- We will have these moments to remember. The past is gone forever, The present is so clear, The future's so uncertain, But we'll face it without a fear. Our happy times, our heart-felt tears- These things we'll treasure through the years, We will have these moments to remember. Dedication Song CTune - Cross Of Gold? We'll be gone when the dawn comes tomorrow, We are leaving dear Northern so true, But we'll cherish the memories forever, The memories of our gold and blue. Every year we have spent here we'll treasure, You will live in our hearts as today, You'll be with us wherever we journey, You're our honor, our tribute and praise. When deep fears and dark thought assail us, And life isn't all that we've planned, We'll then search our hearts for dear Northern, And smile as we try it again. Let us always walk honest and upright, And give honor where honor is due, May we ever live up to the standards, Of dear Northern, our own gold and blue. To each of the faculty members we will a quarter, so they can buy new cars. To the janitors we will a supply of new mops to clean the halls. To the- cafeteria workers the senior home economics girls will their ability to cook.
