A. Anderson HONORARY MEMBERS Dr. and Mrs. J. C. Reagan Sponsor-Dr. George Portnoff The Spanish Club, one of the newest organizations on the campus, has proven itself one of the most active. It was organized at the begin- ning of the fall quarter of this year. It boasts a membership of twenty- live. The purpose of the club is to create and foster an interest in the study of Spanish and master the art of speaking Spanish. Every member has taken an active part in its activities and has done much to make it a success. In addition to business meetings one social meeting was held each month, the entertainment being conducted in Spanish and consisting of Spanish songs, readings, dances, jokes, stories and games. Pecharich Henryetta Wagner Mildred Winn With the beginning of the fall quarter there was organized in the college an honor society known as Sigma Eta Alpha. In this organization officers are elected at the beginning of each quarter, and, under the guidance of these officers, the Society carries on its own social activity. Since the organization of Sigma Eta Alpha there has been a notice- able increase in the number of students making the honor roll each quar- ter. This increased scholastic effort is partially stimulated by the desire for permanent membership in the honor society.
