Text from Pages 1 - 112 of the 1973 volume:

Dedication We, the Senior Class of 1973 with great pride and pleasure dedicated this years yearbook to Mr. Bernard Perry. Your leadership and guidance has affected each and everyone of the Senior Class. We are with your help a Class to be proud of. You have fought for our privileges and obtained many goals for us. We would like to express our gratitude and appreciation for all the trouble you went through for us. Mr. Perry your leadership, consideration, guidance, school spirit, and loyalty are just a few of the numerous characteristics that have been an inspiration to the faculty and students of Northern Adi- rondack Central School. Your very dear to our hearts and thought very fondly of in our class. Please stay yourself so will always be grateful to you. The Class of 1973 2 District Principal Congratulations to the Class of 1973 upon your graduation from the Northern Adi- rondack Central School. As you go into the world I am confident that you will find success and satisfaction in your chosen life's work. The administration and staff of the Northern Adirondack Central School will al- ways be proud of your achievements and success. Likewise, we are sure that you will look upon your years in the Northern Adirondack Central School system with nostalgia, satisfaction and will reflect upon the many happy hours that you spent in the school. There will be moments of solitude and quietness when you will be reflecting upon your school days. At that time I am sure you will remember your teachers and others who were directly concerned with your school life and activities. May I suggest in these moments of reflection that you consider the many sacrifices which have been made by your parents to provide you with a high school education to properly prepare you for the future. You will be entering a world which I sincerely hope will be a period of interna- tional peace, good will and reconstruction. I urge that in this period you always re- main loyal to your God, your country and to yourself. On behalf of the staff, the Board of Education and the administration, I wish each of you happiness, wisdom and success. Sincerely, Bernard P. Harrica District Principal Dear Seniors: As you take leave of this sanctuary known to you as the Northern Adirondack School, and for the first time step out on your own, you face some of the most important decisions of your lives. In no small way, the experiences of your many years of formal learning will be called upon both consciously and unconsciously to bear on the kind and type of decision that you will make. To prepare you as decision makers has been one of the chief goals of your education career. Your teachers, along with your parents and guardians have given you their example; they have encouraged both your mental and emotional growth. Now more than ever before you move out into the main stream of life. And as you do, you take with you my personal best wishes for every success and happi- ness. Norman V.
