FOREWORD We have come to another milestone in our educational career. May we offer our congratulations on the year ' s splendid achievements. The class of nineteen hundred and thirty-two presents this book to the students, faculty and friends of North- eastern University with the very earnest hope that it will keep fresh the names and faces of classmates and teach- ers — for delightful reminiscences of another day. — To record a few of the year ' s frivolous incidents and some of the serious ones, too — all for smiles in the future. — To express the sincere wish that the not distant future will see the happy fruition of all your hopes and plans; that the splendid education will yield rich dividends, as it was intended it should, in friendships, health, happiness and success. Be it not rashly said: a year has passed — Still be it with us, though the next appears Forbear to close the page — one year may last To light a lifetin2e ' s tale of longer years.
