the northeastern The Northeastern received a first class rating from Associated Collegiate Press, moved into new offices, and changed editors at mid-term. The campus newspaper under a new sponsor, Richmond Brown, maintained its high quality of style and news. At the OCPA convention in Stillwater Laurel Kelsey, second semester co-editor, was elected president of OCPA. The newspaper used a Futura headline type and changed to a 3-column floating nameplate for 1968 firsts. Well-known on campus, the organization sponsored other campus activities such as the Calendar Girl contest, student directories, the sale of job opportunity -f booklets and calendars and a campaign for blazers for the basketball players. Spring and fall initiation of pledges highlight the year for Pi Deltas.
